Cebu socialites, art collectors, patrons of the arts, the arty set, and members of the lifestyle and business media converged last June 19, a Wednesday, at the ground floor of the Henry Hotel at No. 1 Paseo Saturnino along the Ma. Luisa Road in Banilad. Of course, the artists themselves were also on hand to meet the attendees.
The eclectic mix of individuals were present for the opening of the second Qube Gallery, owned by Jon Kenneth Gotiong and Maris Holopainen Hadaway, as well as the launch of the “Dos X Dos” exhibit.
Different from the first Qube Gallery in the Persimmon Plus compound, which features emerging artists, the Qube Gallery in the Henry Hotel will exhibit established artists from the Visayas and Mindanao regions.
